Another Woodstonian will be continuing their athletic career at the university level.
Dennis Larocque will play for the University of Windsor’s football team beginning in the 2020 season following a successful club and high school career as a left tackle.
Larocque, who attends Catholic Central high school in London, said he and the school’s athletic and academic goals were a perfect fit.
“I chose Windsor because it aligns with my academic goals and I believe I will be able to achieve my football goals there,” he said to Canadian Football Chat. “I am very familiar with the coaching staff and believe that they will be able to help me succeed in all aspects of university. I trust them and have worked with most of them before.”
Standing at 6’4” and weighing 255 pounds, Larocque was actively recruited by several Canadian and American schools.
