Woodstock woman charged with drug possession

A Woodstock woman has been charged with drug possession after police responded to a report of an impaired driver Sunday.

Police responded at around 3:20 p.m. Sunday to the area near Mill Street. Officers located the car and performed a traffic stop.

A 47-year-old Woodstock woman was charged with driving under suspension, operation while prohibited and drug possession.

Police would like to thank the citizen who reported the driver to police.
