Tip jar stolen from Tillsonburg business

The Oxford OPP are investigating after a tip jar was stolen from a Tillsonburg business on Broadway Tuesday afternoon.

Police said unknown suspects entered the business and removed the tip jar.

Video surveillance captured the theft in progress, so police are attempting to identify the people in the video.

Obscenity written on Ingersoll seniors centre

Police are investigating mischief after an obscenity was written on the west side of the Ingersoll seniors centre building on Ingersoll Street South.

The Oxford OPP said the vandalism took place between July 31 and Aug. 4. The investigation is continuing.

Mischief being investigated

A case of mischief in South-West Oxford Township on Brownsville Road is being investigated after a glass patio door was damaged Wednesday evening.

Police said an unknown suspect went to the home and damaged the patio door but didn’t break into the home.

The Oxford OPP are reminding all residents to call them if they see something suspicious.

Licence plates stolen from vehicle

The Oxford OPP are investigating after a licence plate was stolen from a vehicle in Ingersoll on Ingersoll Street South Tuesday morning.

Police are reminding are vehicle owners to frequently check the licence plate is still on their vehicle.

Shed broken into, $4,000 in tools stolen

Roughly $4,000 in tools were stolen after a shed was broken into at a home on Township Road 8 in Blandford-Blenheim Township.

The Oxford OPP said unknown suspects forcibly gained entry into the shed and took a cordless framing nailing gun, a trim nailing gun, a rotary laser level, a cordless combo kit, a chainsaw, a drill set, a hose and nozzle, and a hammer drill.

The investigation is continuing.
