One COVID-19 case resolved in Oxford and Elgin counties

One more COVID-19 case in Woodstock was resolved in the Southwestern public health region Tuesday morning.

One more COVID-19 case was resolved in the Southwestern public health region, the agency reported Tuesday morning.

That resolved case in Woodstock leaves five confirmed ongoing cases and bumps the total resolved cases to 56.

Three of the remaining confirmed cases are in Oxford County – one each in Woodstock, East Zorra-Tavistock and Ingersoll. In Elgin County, there are two confirmed ongoing cases – one in Malahide and another in St. Thomas.

The health unit has completed 3,543 tests, with 3,298 negative results and a further 180 pending.

A total of 1.9 per cent of tests done are returning positive, according to data from Southwestern public health.
