Woodstock residents are invited to weigh in on three prospective logo designs for the Woodstock Art Gallery in a public survey that opens this spring.
The gallery began a rebranding process last year and put out a call for design elements, including a new logo, the gallery said in a statement. Now, residents are invited to take a survey opining on the three final options.
“We were thrilled to receive an impressive array of applications from talented and experienced designers across Canada, who expressed an incredible passion for the arts and the mission of the Woodstock Art Gallery,” said Robin De Angelis, communications co-ordinator for the gallery.
The gallery’s rebranding committee chose the three options now being presented to the public and will eventually choose the final design.
The three designs include one by a Toronto firm that has done work for the Art Gallery of Ontario, an Ottawa-based designer with experience working in arts and culture, and a designer local to Oxford County who started her freelance firm in 2015 with 20 years of experience.
The logos are on display on the gallery’s website and will be presented at an exhibition this spring. The survey will be open to the public until June 19 and participants will be entered to win a $100 gift card to the gallery gift shop.
